Warm oak underfoot, laid to last.

LOCATION
Abha, Saudi Arabia
SECTOR
Residential
AREA
180 m²
DURATION
4 months
An engineered-oak parquet floor for a living suite — a warm herringbone laid over a properly prepared subfloor and acclimatised to the interior before a single board went down.
Solid wood moves with Abha's cooler, variable climate; the floor needed warmth and pattern without the gaps and cupping that plague a rushed timber install.
We used engineered oak for stability, prepped and levelled the subfloor, acclimatised the boards on site, and set proper expansion gaps before laying the herringbone. The finish was matched to the room's other timber.
THE RESULT
A warm, characterful parquet floor that stays flat and tight through the seasons. Completed in four months.
