A combined climate and ventilation scope for a restaurant — heavy kitchen extraction and make-up air, balanced against a dining room that stays cool, quiet, and odour-free.
THE CHALLENGE
Restaurant kitchens throw enormous heat and odour. Get the ventilation wrong and it migrates straight into the dining room — or pulls the front door shut.
OUR APPROACH
We sized the kitchen extraction and make-up air as one balanced system, kept the dining-room supply quiet and draft-free, and set up the pressure relationships so cooking smells stay behind the pass.
THE RESULT
A kitchen that runs hard without overheating and a dining room that stays comfortable through a full service. Commissioned in four months.
